Why Does Michigan Ability Partners Need Your Support?

We hear it so often, “How can we have a positive impact on our local community?”

One solution is the stability of Nonprofit organizations and the success of their mission. Michigan Ability Partners (MAP) has been improving the quality of life for others in Washtenaw, Wayne, and Jackson counties since 1985. That’s 37 years of dedication to providing services for individuals, families, and Veterans who face barriers to self-sufficiency due to homelessness, disability(ies), or extremely low income. Serving 1,300 people annually, MAP breaks through those barriers with three core services: Housing Support, Financial Management, and Steady Employment services.

The agency primarily works with individuals and families experiencing homelessness, Veterans at risk, Veterans' families, individuals and families that are extremely low income (under $19,500 income per year, but generally less than $10,000 per year), and individuals with physical, mental, and/or addiction disabilities.

Vulnerable populations are underserved and MAP is extremely grateful for your generosity to take action and offer life-changing support. Please consider giving because 1,300 Veterans and people who have disabilities will benefit greatly from your gift.

Together, we can create pathways to stability for Veterans and individuals with disabilities.
