We are Michigan Ability Partners.

We work with Veterans and people who have disabilities
in support of their self-directed transformation to self-sufficiency.

Annually, with approximately 30 staff, we serve over 1,500 people.

MAP participants:

  • Are adults over the age of 18
  • Are students with disabilities, ages 14-26,in public schools that we serve with job and career readiness
  • 20 % are Veterans
  • Are those living with mental, physical and addiction disabilities
  • Are those experiencing homelessness
  • Are extremely low income - under $19,500 but generally under $10,000

MAP offers Permanent Supported Housing, Supportive Services including case management, Rapid Re-Housing, Employment Training, Job Placement Services and Representative Payee services.

We own and operate 44 units of affordable housing at seven sites in Washtenaw County.

We currently serve Washtenaw, Jackson, Wayne and Monroe counties.
