A Point in Time (PIT) count is a nation-wide effort to get a realistic snapshot of the sheltered and unsheltered homeless population in the United States. On January 29, 2020, various groups in Washtenaw County are performing the annual PIT count of homeless individuals in our community. Teams of two will hit the streets late in the evening and continue through early morning. During that time they will interview homeless individuals, ask them a few questions and help them access shelter and services if desired. This year the interview teams would like to hand out WEATHER-PROOF GLOVES to individuals they interview. FUNDS RAISED HERE WILL BE USED TO PURCHASE GLOVES.
